Devil May Cry Blur Enhance Photoshop Tutorial

Devil May Cry Blur Enhance Photoshop Tutorial

This is based on some of the more common tutorials, but I notice that alot of people use the longer method of layers and Blending Options and this method is far quicker and easier in my opinion.

  1. To begin with, load up Photoshop with a picture you want to add our blur effect to - something with a nice amount of colour variation is recommended. For this tutorial, I’ll be using a picture of the lovely Lady featured in Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening.

  3. Simply go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and input 1.0 into the Radius text field:

  5. Followed by going to Edit > Fade Gaussian Blur and selecting a Mode type from the dropdown box. Personally I recommend either Soft Light or Hard Light (recommended).

  7. And we’re done! You don’t get much easier then that. ;) I’ve included the final result below as well as a side-by-side comparison of the original and enhanced version.
