What are your thoughts on the ending. [SPOILERS]

    I really, REALLY do not like the ending of this game. It was just...messed up. What are your thoughts on the ending?

    They made that ending confusing on purpose, with the intention of making us wonder what will happen. They had the intention to explain everything in the sequel, which didnt come yet.
    But I dont think they will leave that unanswered, they just thought they had more important things to answer before, such as Dante's past.

    I think they meant for us to want a sequel to learn what happens in hell to dante.

    The ending was quite open. There's no real closure... which would be good if there was a sequal to DMC2, continueing the story... but since there isn't, well, it kinda just leaves us hanging.
